Review summary

First timer. Overall was OK for the first time. If I take another cruise, I will not go from Charleston. The entertainment was not really good quality. It may be good to go with a big group so you do not feel alone. Also, this ship from Charleston looked like all entertainment is all about cruisers from NC and SC. People from other states were not even mentioned.

Embarkation

Global entry does not work at Charleston. The lines were too long.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining rooms are nice and the service is good. For the drinks you have to pay - it is not included.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The Pool was too crowded; When the ship was moving some of the sliding pool water came down to the seats on Deck 10! I tried to run on Deck 13 but got dizzy, I guess, there were too many waves. I had to try when we were at Freeport; when the ship was not moving - did not try.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some of the shows were just too much noise but no quality.I liked the comedy shows though.

Children's Programs

We had no kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
They are all friendly and happy to have you on-board.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was nice. Looks renovated.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
For too people it was good. But for 3 or 4 would be too crowded.

Ship tip

It is all about states of SC and NC. We are from PA - we did not feel that anybody cares about people from other states.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

4 out of 5
It is a cosy nice town. people are nice and friendly.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
This was the only place that was worth staying and going for. Really nice. We used the quite side.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

2 out of 5
The port is too far from the beaches. It is a small port and 1 market. You can shop for 30 min - that's all. We took the trip to the beach - all inclusive. Really low quality for the price we paid. I would not recomend. It would be better to get a taxi and make your own trip.

Disembarkation

Long lines
