Review summary

Overall we had a wonderful time and would take this cruise again. It was easy getting on and off the ship. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We prepaid our parking at the port. It was very easy to drop our luggage off and get parked. After getting shuttled over from the parking area the line for the check in moved pretty quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food & drinks were great!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool area only got crowded a few times. Hot tub was an awesome way to relax and the slides were a hit with the children! Had a great time at game night and the comedy show was pretty funny.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage shows were great!

Children's Programs

Our children hung out with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Let me tell you about our AWESOME room steward. We stayed in M107 and Noli took wonderful care of us!!! He spoke to us & called us by our first names every time he saw us. He took very good care of our every need every time. Thank you NOLI!!! In the main dinning room Luis and Wijaya took VERY good care of us!! Every night they greeted us by our first names and took care of our every need. He treated the children 13,13 and 5 like Kings and Queen!! He brought them whatever they wanted (chicken nuggets & pizza) and topped it off with ice cream every night! They loved it and wanted to go back every night. They were just AWESOME!!!!! Gary the cruise director was very funny and enjoyed seeing him around the ship! Everyone else was very nice and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean for an older ship and I have no complaints.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our room was clean and comfortable. We took a shoe hanger with us and this was very helpful to store our bathroom stuff in. Room was quiet for the most part other than children running down the halls. I missed having the window in our room but would definitely stay in this room again.

Ship tip

Get ready to have fun!! Don't worry about it being an older and smaller ship there is plenty of fun things to do.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
I love Charleston!!! Did not do an excursion but walked around after getting off the ship and it's a very beautiful city.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Having to get number to get on the tender boat was a great idea! Made it very easy to get to the island quickly. HMC was very beautiful and we had a great time on the island.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Nassau was a little intimidating with all of the people wanting to take you on a taxi ride. We walked past them finally and walked on the ocean front and got back on the ship.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
Freeport was much more relaxed. We walked around the stores near the ship and ended up at Senior Frogs. We had a great time there!!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We went to the disembarkation presentation the night before and it was very informative. We chose to get off at the early time. We walked right off and again the line moved pretty quickly. It was much easier then I though it would be.
