Review summary

For a 1st cruise for my kids, I would say it was good but not great, when it came to keeping them entertained. They shouldn't want to go watch tv in the room but they did. 2500 people and x amount of chairs at pool was a challenge. Overall, I say it was food but not great. Great was the food!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The embarkarion experience ran very smoothly. Considering the amount of passengers, I was surprised the flow was smooth considering.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed all the food. There was a great variation to choose from. Our nightly dinner was in the Wind Song at 815 table 32. Elena and her crew were AMAZING! She knew our names and was always so giddy and polite. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress or experience!!!!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I was a little disappointed in the activities on board. When we would get bored, we went yo library twice to just play games but it was closed for a private function and were told we couldn't bring games out. The pool was always overflowing and most things to do the kids were either not 18 or just not interested. We were given the late dinner so some things we wanted to do overlapped our dinner.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Everything we were able to do we enjoyed. We didn't gwy,to do many shows due to age or show times.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward Terrain was wonderful and very very accommodating. He knew me by name if he saw me in the hall. Whatever I needed, he was there to help. Elena and her crew in the Wind Song were juat perfect. We laughed and talked and couldn't ask for a more awesome time.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship had a lot of areas that smelled like poo. The design was somewhat confusing but we learned it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had 5 people in one room and considering the size of the room it was appropriate. It was tight but again we chose not to pay for a second room ao,it was overall very good.

Ship tip

Be prepared to have your picture taken a lot. Lol

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

Very small and run down looking

Nassau, Bahamas

We did the dolphin excursion and enjoyed it. Kind of short for what you pay and the CD was expensive but we definitely have memories

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

1 out of 5
No excursion. We got off ship to look around and were back on ship about 30-45 min later. Nothing to do if you don't do an excursion. Shops all sell same stuff and hassle you. Wasn't impressed at all!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was very slow to get our number called to get off ship but it ran smooth once we were called. Again a lot of people to get off so overall not too bad.
