Review summary
Nickel and dimed, maybe it was just the Carnival economy cruise we went on but for instance we had to interrupt our meals several times to swipe our cuise card for a capaccino or every time the kid wanted a coke, why not do it at the end or are they afraid we'll bolt from the dining room w/o paying. Food was marginal drinks were way overpriced. I ate an extra desert everynite to reciprocate for the ungodly drink prices thanks for the 5lbs I gained Carnival. On the last day after following instructions we ate breakfast before the posted 9 am deadline. My son stayed in the room and at 8:30 the cleaning staff kicked him out of the room with all our carryon so the cleaning staff could get a 30 minute jump on cleaning. When we got back to the cabin no one knew where he or the carry on was and really seem to care, luckily he did not leave the ship.

Ship tip
We didn't have trouble with sea sickness, didn't know what to expect since wife often gets vertigo. Bring plenty of liquids + container for ice, power strip. The overhead bunk was awkward, the room map seemed to show it off to one side but it was directly overhead. I only smacked my head 3 times.
