Review summary

We enjoyed both destinations where great. Crew on the boat was lovely. Food was not good and shut down to early. Refrigerator didn't work the whole time. Reported it 3 times. Never got fixed. Also the light on the balcony didn't work. Have been on both royal Caribbean and carnival. Will not be going with carnival again.

I agree with the OP. If your refrigerator and balcony light (that you paid for!!) didn't work and you couldn't get either fixed, you have every right to be upset. That's your hard earned money, OP. You paid for a much more expensive cabin and expected working appliances/lights. Anyone who shelled out that kind of money would agree!

I never get a refrigerator. There is nothing in my stateroom that can't be cooled down with free ice. And I'm not hoarding food in my room, either. 😀

I have never had a refrigerator work. I just ask for more ice

Your refrigerator and balcony light didn't work, so you'll never cruise Carnival again? Boy, if you're that upset about minor inconveniences, you'll quickly run out of ships on which to travel.

I have only been on carnival 23 times but since they only have me as cruising 16 times and refuse to change it with a array of other issues I was thinking on trying royal carribean. Is there a ship you would recommend for first timers on RC.
