Review summary

The end was the best part. Really a boring experience. The beds were way too soft so I had to sleep sitting up because my back hurt so much.   The food was so-so. I'm sure some people enjoyed the activities and shows but they just didn't hold an interest for me. If you are all about working on a tan and drinking then you will enjoy cruising but for me it was about as exciting as watching paint dry. I took my stepdaughter and her BFF on this cruise for their Spring Break and they too were glad when it was over. Again, you may love it but cruising is not for everyone. I know it will be my last.

Our steward was great. Water would back up and flow back out of the drain in the bathroom area when we showered leaving an inch of water on the floor and soaking the carpet in our stateroom.

If you want a really miserable time at sea, join the Navy.

I love cruises and have been on several. We took our kids this time, and I was slightly disappointed. The food was definitely not as good as in the past. The service has also changed a lot over the years. It seemed like they have cut back on their staff, but still have the same number of guests.

I love cruising but our family did not have as much fun on the Ecstasy as we did on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. This year, we chose to book with Royal Caribbean again. I would encourage you to try a different cruise line.

I'm sure your negative attitude is what caused them to not have a good time. Kids look to adults and you sir failed them.

Ecstasy is a good ship. Going for second time in May.

Tbh, any vacation is what you make it out to be. Try new things with an open mind. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy cruising. Next time, find better to go with.

I'm glad some people don't like cruises. If everyone wanted to cruise, they could charge whatever they wanted.
