I read all the reviews prior to boarding so I was a little nervous.... I guess it's perspective and WHAT you want out of a cruise. The crew was GREAT! The entertainment was NEVER lacking, the food was good, yes, mass produced, so don't expect gourmet but really? It's like going to McDonalds and ordering a freshly made Filet Mignon and getting upset you got a bigmac.... really? Some people just have to have something to complain about! It was fourth of July weekend so CROWDED but again, perspective, I had a blast, my family had a blast and although I feel like the crew are overworked and very under appreciated by passengers they were all pleasant and always acted like they were there to personally ensure my vacation was fabulous!!!

I played a lot of bingo and did a lot of trivia with my teenagers!! FRANCIS M. from Canada is a DREAM!!!!! Met him during trivia and couldn't get enough of his energy and his genuine spirit!!!! WE Love you Francis!!!! Gary, even though we didn't win Bingo was entertaining and kept everyone involved!!!! CANNOT say enough good things about BEN the cruise director. He is EVERYWHERE and his energy is AWESOME!!!!!

TC, (the legend) in the piano bar was the highlight of entertainment for us! We went one night and couldn't wait to go back the next night!!! He is warm and funny and entertaining!!! We felt like he truly loved his job and the passengers!!! A Great guy that made everyone feel welcome and recharged our spirits!!!

RALIZA in the panorama bar is ONE OF A KIND!!! She was so compassionate and caring of my stomach ache and went out of her way to help me. Even made me a special beverage which HELPED and when I needed it again and she was on a break she called from her room and walked the other bartender through making it!!! SHE is a life saver.
EDY and SHELON , the crew in the piano bar were the most special, genuine people I have ever met. They called me by name, they smiled and made me feel like I was the only person onboard. I actually was SAD to say goodbye to them!!!!! JIMMED in the Metro bar and dining room was a GEM...he has such a kind spirit and wonderful smile . He always went out of his way to speak to me and smile at me. THEY are all working so hard and at times I felt bad that they were working so hard but they never showed it, never negative, always smiling and I will always remember how they made me feel special. SHELON even ran after me with a bottle of water when she noticed that the piano bar had closed and I had left but had only mentioned I was going to get water!

We aren't people who stay in the room so yes, four of us was TIGHT and I could never figure out the hot/cold water but they never hesitated to help me!!!!
Ship tip
The cabins are small, two of us was fine, four of us was tight. Don't take BIG suitcases that cannot be folded down due to lack of space but if you are staying in your room you are missing something!!!! TIP your crew members who were extra special!!!! They deserve it!
Nassau is dirty and touristy, take an excursion to Balmoral or somewhere like that where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful water....The top ten tour is good as well to see all the history and the highlights!
