Review summary

We enjoyed the cruise. The time away from responsibility was great but the beds were hard as a rock and the food was mediocre. We want to explore other cruise lines in the future to compare but for a first cruise it was nice. Not having to cook, clean or do laundry for five days was quite wonderful and the ocean view while aboard the ship was incredibly peaceful of you can get past the noise of constant partying going on around you.

Our room was kept up very well. It almost seemed like our door was being watched because even if we were only gone for 30 minutes something in our room had been cleaned in our absence.

Food on Carnival was good, and food on Royal Caribbean Freedom Of The Seas was very good. Cruising on Norwegian Star next April and hope the food is just as good as Freedom of the Seas.
