Overall it was great. The food was good (buffet), beds were awesome, service was outstanding especially the room upkeep, and our son (5 yrs) was immediately addicted to Camp Carnival.

Dinner in the dining room was pretty bad. The menu was nice but the actual food was usually cold or undercooked. Service is slow in the dining hall, dinner takes two hours from start to finish.
The buffet Aft on the Lido Deck was Awesome! Always fresh and hot. We stopped eating in the dining room after going twice.

Most stuff is kinda geared toward old people. They had gameshows and bingos ect ect. The comedy shows were great, mini golf is always cool in the middle of the ocean.

AWESOME! Our son was addicted almost immediately. He had no complaints or reports or mistreatment. He always came out with something cool like face painting, prizes, and stories. If anyone deserves a big tip its the Camp Carnival staff.

The riviera rooms were bigger than expected. After a day the toilets always smelled like pee though.

Even for the economy riviera deck we thought the room we had was awesome. Elevators are spread out evenly and never a far walk. Beds were comfortable and lots of pillows and blankets. Temperature in room was easy to control and showers worked great.
BRING PESOS!!! Go to you bank and convert your money, youll save so much! You will always be ripped off paying american! This is a great place to just get off the boat, take the shuttle to the end of the pier, and hang out. I live on the texas border of mexico and this place reminds me of what mexico used to be. Everything is WAY cheaper here than Cozumel! So dont book an excursion here, just get out and shop. If you like souvenirs you dont need to ride the shuttle, there are alot of shops right off the boat. If you wanna hang out, drink, find cooler souvenirs, or go to a beach thats free, take the free shuttle(2 minute ride).
BRING PESOS!! This is a serious rip off spot if youre using american. The shops SUCK!! Everything is way too expensive in american. The excursions are awesome though. We did the powerboat excursion. Flying through beautiful multicolored waters in a 2 seat mini speedboat was so much fun.
