Review summary

The ship was good. However one main elevator wasn't working, and I thought there were too many smoking areas. Not one bar or dance floor was non-smoking.

our steward was a good guy. The gentleman that helped up book our excursion was extremely helpful when the one we'd orginally planned fell through.

Progreso seems to be a work in progress. Visiting the ruins was ok. We had signed up to kayak but since it was low tide they said we might be carrying our kayaks...we didn't eat anywhere there.

The shopping was good however I didn't appreciate that many stores had an alliance with the ship so they steered us to those stores where they don't really barter. The free beach south of the shopping area was beautiful

Pros: different activities each day

Cons: the ship was late so we were 2 hrs late leaving Galveston

The Best Cruise Ever
