Review summary

This ship was a lot of fun and the staff were extremely friendly. There were lots of activities for every interest - dance club, country & western club, casino, piano bar, swimming pool with slide and mini golf to name a few. The food was great and we never ran out of fun things to do. The only negative was the smoking policy as most of the indoor clubs were smoking and practically anywhere outside on the ship was smoking. Other than that we really enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was incredible and the dining room staff were awesome. The formal dining room is a fun atmosphere and the servers were always friendly. Each night the menu changed so it was exciting to try something different each night.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enough variety for everyone and the quality was first class. The professional entertainers performed numerous shows and they were lots of fun. The schedule allowed for us to attend most everything we desired.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff always had a smile and went above and beyond in everything. It was probably the best customer service we have ever experienced on any vacation, period.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship had been refurbished a few years ago and it had a large variety of activities and was extremely clean. The staff constantly cleaned and scrubbed and even the common bathrooms and other spaces were clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The bathroom was surprisingly larger than our previous cruise and the stateroom was large enough and comfortable. Each room has a small flat screen tv and there are large vanities with mirrors to use while getting ready for the day.

Ports of call

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the horseback riding and beach break excursion. The resort at the beach break was a lot of fun and had an open bar. If you're into relaxing and drinking then this is a great choice. The food was not included in the price though so we spent about $15 for lunch. The town of Progresso is definitely "old" and does not offer the variety of shopping as other larger ports. However, if you are into Mayan ruins then take advantage because Progresso has some of the best sites to visit.
Don't Miss: Mayan Ruins

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel was beautiful and the shopping is great. We did the Amazing snorkel excursion and were taken to a beautiful beach with white sand and blue water. Then we had lunch at a lighthouse and spent a few minutes visiting a Mayan ruin. If you are wanting to snorkel or dive then Cozumel is one of the best. Don't mess with the water in Progresso, it's not pretty and a lot colder in January. Cozumel was a nice temperature and very pretty diving.
Don't Miss: Diving & Snorkeling

Pros: The food, entertainment, dancing

Cons: Very liberal smoking policies
