Review summary

My husband and I was looking so forward to going on a cruise this year since we havn't cruised since 2019 because of Covid. This was our 14th cruise with Carnival and it was by far the worst. We started cruising in 2009 and a lot of things have changed since then. But it has changed drastically since 2019. They seem to be short staffed with some them being rude and disrespectful. I have never been treated the way I was on this cruise. One of the waiters in the Burgundy Lounge was very rude to us, pretty much told us he did not like Americans. Two servers at the Red Frog Pub were horrible, acted like they did not want to wait on me, would not speak to me and made no eye contact with me, very disrespectful. The ship was not clean at all. Never got to eat in the dining room, there was always a 45 minute to an hour wait just to be seated. Buffets were half open half the time and not near the variety of food that they used to offer. The Casino table games have doubled, guess trying to make up for being shut down. No cokes anymore, just Pepsi so bring your own just make sure their cans. Can't bring water anymore either and you guessed it, they have went way up on their bottled water, 10.00 for case of 12. We got our chocolate treat delivered to our state room for being Platinum, the chocolate strawberries were molded. The Debarkation process was a total disaster. Went to level 3 as we were told to wait in the Encore but it was completely full so waited in the hall between elevators with 100 more people. Told to wait until they called our muster station #. Watched as people kept piling off the elevator and walked to the Lobby. Finally decided I was ready to get off the ship. What a mess. We had another cruise booked with them for next year but as soon as we got home, I canceled it. In my opinion Carnival has increased their prices and decreased their customer care. I left a review to Carnival but apparently it's not a concern of theirs, after all I'm just one person. This was our last Cruise with them. Trying Royal Caribbean next.

Don't go with Carnival, try Royal Caribbean. Carnival has really went down hill
