Overall fun cruise. I enjoyed the Dream, it was a beautiful ship. But there were so many kids running all around the Main deck and Lido. It was annoying
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Took about 2 hours to get on to the ship. Sat in the waiting area with about 1000 other people waiting patiently to be called row by row. Had to use the crew terminal because maintenance was being done on the usual boarding terminal
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Always love the food on Carnival. Never gets old!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pools were packed with kids, as were the whirlpools. The pool on the Lido at the back of the ship was packed with everyone else. Too many kids on this cruise, kind of hindered my experience on board
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The R rated comedy club was great. We went to every one and they didn't disappoint.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Prudence was the best server I've ever had on a cruise. She was very caring and friendly. Our steward was good to, didn't interact with him as much as I usually do. I didn't spend much time in the room.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Our stateroom was cleaned and fresh linens on the bed every single day, ship layout was very similar to other ships so it wasn't hard to find my way around
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our balcony stateroom was always up kept by our steward and we tipped him well for his troubles
Ship tip
The ship was nice and staff was great! The Serenity deck is definitely worth a visit, no kids allowed ๐
Galveston, as a city, was beautiful. Parking seemed easy enough, but the passenger terminal was under construction so we had to embark through the crew terminal. It felt like my first day at basic training. So much standing around in line. It was terrible
Absolute nightmare. Didn't get off of the ship until almost 11! They delayed the disembarking for a couple of hours before they called for us. Wasn't Carnival's fault, the terminal being under maintenance was a HUGE hindrance.
