Great time cruising with friends. Met a lot of great people. Loved the shows, games etc. Dont waste your time or money gambling unless you want to take home a token. Try the fine dining experience. We loved it.
Embarkation

Arrive 15 min too late (1:45pm for a window appt of 12:30-1:30) for help from anyone! No purser to help with luggage. Minimal help with direction. Had I not ever cruised before, we would have been clueless! To top that off, we were priority board passengers. Hauling luggage and other bags proved different for me especially. I am disabled but mostly ambulatory.
Terrible experience since I have had 9 cruises total!

Bingo, adult game night, Halloween costume contest and Halloween festivities. Too windy topside for mini golf. Ugly chest contest a great concept but gross to look at!

Ship was somewhat dated in color scheme. Dirty tables and plates etc piled up on tables in buffet areas. Dusty areas seemed unnecessary.
Stateroom(suite) was dusty, finger and handprints on the windows. Overall housekeeping was a disappointment for me as in comparison to past cruises. Especially is the suite we paid extra for. I would expect a little more attention to details. Dirty old sock under one of the beds. Dust was crazy in this room. Needs extra attention.

Rated a 4 due to the excessive amount of dust and dirty sock found. Also hand and fingerprints all over viewing windows. Did not include balcony door as that is expected to get prints on it. Would have give a 3, but found that it would have been nit picking too much!
Ship tip
Bring antibacterial wipes to my clean surfaces to prevent spread illnesses.
Think carnival needs a new port of call and take Progreso off its list. Very dirty city and excursions totally built up only to find what you didn’t expect!
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! Cluster!
Somewhat unorganized and rushed considerably! The best part was the purser who handled our luggage! Wonderful guy who had 8 children and a great outlook! He was a cool dude with long dreads pulled up.
2 buses/shuttles had a finder binder therefor causing an even longer delay in getting the heck out of there!
There were people waiting to get on the ship and people trying to get off all in similar lines outside in front of the terminal.
They no longer drop people off at their individual cars. They have specific stopping points that they are allowed to stop at. So that means that YOU have to walk even further on uneven gravel with your suitcases to walk back to your car that the shuttle just pasted 15 cars back!
