Good first introduction to Carnival. Expectations are in line with the reduced price point.

Embarkation

Totally painless, we got there a little bit early and they let us ride on. The Uber driver dropped us in the wrong spot so we had to walk about 5 minutes to the right terminal but other than that it was a piece of cake.

Food and Dining

We only ate in the main dining rooms. Food was good staff was accommodating to some food allergies. Drinks were overpriced so we only had a bottle of wine

Little disappointed in the offering. Some of the activities were cancelled and no one was notified

Serenity Adult Only Retreat

The no kids thing was amazing, Carnival needs to get better at enforcing the towel rule. Almost every lawnchair had a towel on them and people were nowhere to be seen.

Entertainment

Pretty good. We went to one of the Big Show's one night only. It was a reduced performance due to high seas, singers were pretty good.

I'm an adult and had a blast. I would go later in the evening to avoid the kids. They close at 4 you have a 30 minute window.

Service and Staff

Waiters room stewards and others were all great. We're really little maintenance so I don't think we asked for anything other than some food accommodations.

Design was fine, people are pretty gross and leaves stuff everywhere!

Cabin / Stateroom

Loud banging nights all night long. It took three nights for them to finally take a seriously.

Ship tip

If you see a towel unattended for 10 minutes, take the seat Carnival doesn't enforce seat saving rules. Otherwise you'll never find a place to enjoy the sunshine.
