Review summary

We had a wonderful time, I was not ready to come back. As they say "All good things must come to an end". I am absolutely going to book another one, this time just adults lol

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and surprisingly fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was overall great, I wasn't too pleased with the taste of most of the deserts but that's no big deal. I like that you during dinner you can order more than one appetizer and entree.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is always something to do or some place to relax other than your room.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
On this last trip I did not go to any shows but the Lido deck's DJ was always amazing. Music was upbeat and it just put you in the mood to dance or at least sway to the beat.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My son stayed at the Kid's Club most of the trip. It was not so I could pawn him off so I could drink or have adult time. He genuinely loved going there. He is 7 and the kid's club kept him entertained with games and projects.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff - always friendly and knowledgeable and if there was something that they didn't know they were able to promptly find the answer.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean, my only complaint is that the floors seemed a little slippery, not like someone wasted something but like maybe the tile that is used just has a slippery texture.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
OMG my bed was so comfortable, I hate that I had a twin (shared the room with my son and friend). If it was just my son (7) and I then we would have just had a king size. Once again the bed was so comfortable. The size of the room was ideal. I am a large woman and I was able to move around freely through the room. I didn't feel confined or cramped at all.

Ship tip

One piece of advice - Be prepared to have fun! Leave all of your troubles and concerns at your departing port. When you step onto that cruise ship immediately change your mindset to "fun in the sun"

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

3 out of 5
The port is "OK". There is nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't look as beautiful as many other ports. Luckily you are only there for a short while.

Cozumel, Mexico

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Of course it takes time to exit the ship but the process is made easy and simple by the organization of the ship crew.
