Review summary

The Dream is a beautiful ship and the staff is amazing! If you stop in Progreso, stay on the ship! Go to Nachi Cocoom in Cozumel. Tip extra your room steward, bartenders and wait staff in MDR. They really go the extra mile!

Room location and cleanliness were 5 stars! Absolutely loved the balcony!!! The only con was the bed was super uncomfortable. I almost slept on the floor it was so bad. This was our first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to. But I pray the bed is better on our next cruise. 🙏🏼

Did the Holy Guacamole tour through Carnival. The tour guide and bus driver were wonderful! But got to the resort to make our guacamole and realized there were 5 more buses full of people going to the same resort. They were all getting food and claiming the good beach and pool chairs while we were stuck in this boring class. By the time the class was over, it was so overcrowded and had to search for an available beach chair. I really wish we had saved our money and stayed on the ship. I have nothing positive to say about Progreso.

Miss the Dream. She use to be dock at Port Canaveral only sailed on her once then they moved her.

We have been to Progresso twice and are going again this year. We have done the foodie and photo tour and loved it. My youngest son (11) asked if we could do it again this year so he and I will be doing it again. Thank you for the review on the guacamole tour. We will not do that one. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise! It’s our favorite thing to do!!

Thanks for the review! Other people love the beds but we always find them uncomfortable. :( Especially with the split down the middle. It's honestly one of the reasons we avoid taking longer cruises. I've bought a mattress topper for our cruise in August, so we'll see if that works out -- I've heard the stewards will put it on for you. 💖🛳
