Review summary

Probably won't ever go on another one. Unless we have a bigger group go with. My kids didn't want to go do anything because they didn't know anyone, they are a little on the shy side. The buffet was a joke for picky eaters. Even my non picky eaters really didn't have much to choose from that they even would eat except salad.

Lunch and dinner buffet was a joke. Especially when you have kids that are picky eaters. Breakfast buffet on the other hand was awesome.

It's amazing your kids didn't want to hang out with the other kids on the ship. Also most kids I know like pizza or hamburgers. In order to know someone you have to go out and do things with those who are your age. Not sure of your kids age, but from my experience Carnival have something for every age. One of cruises, my friend kids cried and didn't want to leave the activities they were doing. The next day they barely got through breakfast, because they was ready to start their daily activities.

Sorry to hear. My teens don't like to cruise -- they're too comfortable at home on their WiFi, they don't feel the need to get away for utter relaxation, and they don't like sitting through a 1.5hr dinner service -- which are all the things I love about cruising!! So you're probably right - either take a bigger group to keep the kids entertained, or go just as a couple. And for sure the buffet is not the greatest. Dining room for brunch and dinner is the way to go. ❤️🛳

Sounds like cruising isn’t for you. Most love it, but it’s not for everyone. I am surprised by how many say they could not find any food they could eat on a ship. Every cruise I have been on has a wide variety of foods from all over the world. I’ve never found anything I would consider inedible on any cruise.
