Overall we had a very nice time even with the few complaints. March in the Caribbean is perfect. Light breeze and not too hot. We would make a few adjustments if we did this again. We wouldn't buy the soda package or the WiFi package. We would upgrade to a spa room and dine out at the specialty restaurants more. The extra money for the superior food is totally worth it. We would also purchase a photo package because the professional pictures we great quality.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was pretty bland for the most part, but the specialty restaurants were excellent!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Not a lot of options for pools. They were both quite small. The spa was lovely! Just lots of sales pitches whenever you booked services (massages, facials, etc.), but I think that's pretty typical for all cruises.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The DJ was great! The Cruise Director was awesome! However, the stage shows were just horrible. Thus the "poor" rating. Seriously terrible choreography and singing. It was painful to watch.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Room steward was great! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful and always had a smile. A few of the bartenders and waitstaff were unfriendly or dismissive.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship was clean and easy to get around. Lots of places to walk around the ship and enjoy the ocean air. The decor is pretty dated and needs a revamp.
Cabin / Stateroom

The good:
- The balcony was wonderful for watching the sea and sunset/rises. The room window was very large.
- The room was clean and well maintained.
- Lots of closet space
The bad:
- The bed was uncomfortable. The two twins that they made into a "king" kept drifting apart at night and you'd end up in a canyon. Other cruises I have been on used something to keep the beds together. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep for my husband.
- The TV was really small
Ship tip
Don't buy the soda package. There is plenty of juice and water to drink. You have to get sodas from the bar and thus have to push your way through tons of people hanging out to get a soda. We just gave up most of the time. We didn't even drink enough sodas to pay for the cost of the package.
The Dunns River Falls excursion was beautiful and a nice experience. Jamaica is kind of dirty and not a ton of scenery. The Almond Tree restaurant did have a lovely view of the Caribbean. Street vendors were very pushy.
I highly recommend the Xplor park. It was well worth the money. The only bad thing is that we didn't have more time. We will definitely go back to Cozumel!
