Review summary

Our trip was wonderful, we had a great time enjoy many activities on board and off. The best part was the wonderful service provided by all the staff! We loved being addressed by name when we came to dinner and by our wonderful stewards!

The food was presented beautifully but was often lacking in flavor and/or execution. There were definitely some exceptional meals but it was hit or miss. We do understand that cooking in such large quantities can be difficult to maintain quality. I saw a lot of food go into the trash just because it wasn’t very good. The serving staff in the dining room was fantastic! The Alchemy bar was superb, great bartenders and fantastic drinks. The burger place was spot on every time. Pizza was good, wish they’d use fresh basil for the Margarita pizza.

Onboard Activities

We did the pool and water slides: great activities for the kids! Wish there was more shaded areas on the upper decks. Mini golf, basket ball, arcade, casino, shows, shopping, and whisky mixing class.

Entertainment

The comedians were all very funny. Flick was a fun show for the whole family! Night club was a bit of a fail, the DJ played one type of music and you couldn’t really dance to it, variety would be good.

The size and comfort was great,, but we had a terrible sewage smell in our room and in the hallway around our room. We called for someone to look into it, but they claimed they could not smell it. All other passengers could smell it just walking by that area. We figured out that it was coming from the vents and therefore turned down our AC and that made it a little better.
