Review summary

This was an inexpensive cruise to quickly get away. For a first time cruiser, it is perfect. There really is something for everyone. Young or old, it all works and there are things for each age group to do each day. If you are looking for a super elegant cruise, this is not the one for you. If you are looking for relaxation or tons of activities and fun, this is it! I thought I would be bored to death on sea days. They ended up being my favorite, with no pressure to be anywhere and fun activities all day.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The day of departure is chaotic with elevators jammed and people looking for their rooms. It gets much better the following day!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was good and well displayed. We learned that many of the items on the menus in the dining room are also served at the buffets. Wine and cocktails are expensive.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is always something going on, whether you want to just watch or take part. It is really important to read the information delivered to your room the night before explaining all of the activities planned for the next day.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows each night were really fun. You must arrive early to get a seat. We had difficulty with finishing dinner in the dining room quick enough to hit the early shows. The music on the Lido deck at the pool was so loud, you could not talk with others.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
THIS is what makes the cruise wonderful. Every single staff member is professional, warm and fun! Just an OUTSTANDING staff!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was constantly being cleaned. The layout was great, as it even had a walking track on the fifth floor.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was great and well worth choosing a balcony room. The room was spacious, and even had room to invite other couples for a drink before dinner. The balcony was small but perfect for the cruise.

Ship tip

Find fun excursions! They make the trip so fun! Watch for posted happy hours on excursions days upon returning to the ship. Talk with other travelers and meet some interesting people!!

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
The process of getting over 4000 people on and off the ship was truly amazing! Well organized and always had people to help with information or directions.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
This is a great port with easy on, easy off access. Even if you are not taking an excursion, it is worth it to get off the ship and walk around!

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
I thought this would be an awful port because you have to tender to Belize. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient the tender was, with boats ready to return you to the ship every 30 minutes.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
This is another easy on, easy off port, with a nice little shopping area within walking distance of the ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Absolutely amazing process of moving more than 4000 people off the ship! The directions were clear and the process flawless.
