I was extremely excited about the cruise to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary along with our children and granddaughter. I was not disappointed and we are already looking forward to the next.

The food was very good and constant. The food in the main dining room was top notch and they were more than willing to bring all we wanted. Guys Burgers and Guys Pig and anchor were both very good and I was so excited to finally be able to eat at both. We went to the steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary. While the food was good I was a little disappointed by my filet mignon and the size of my lobster.

Onboard Activities

We participated in many activities on ship and our cruise director Lee was awesome. Bingo, Karaoke, live shows, deck parties, fitness center and movies we just a few of the event we participated in and enjoyed. I feel that the upsale after the message is very deceitful and you make a purchase without even being aware of it.
Entertainment

I struggled with just giving an okay for the entertainment as the cruise director Lee and his team did a wonderful job keeping us entertained. The first night we attended a performance called FLICK which was really good. I feel the performers were great and kept my entire attention as I was aware of just about all the songs performed. The singalong after the show was also great as well as the sail-a-way party and all the other deck parties. Unfortunately, I missed the lip sinq contest out did hear a preview which was good. Now the reason for my 3 star review was MOTORCITY which was awful. The performers were horrible and I find it hard to believe that they could not find one person of color to perform in a show that sings the music of MOTOWN which was a black-owned company with primarily black artist. This was my only negative of the entertainment.
Children's Programs

We traveled with our 2 year old granddaughter. My daughter intended to have her participate in the children's program however after attending the registration we were not satisfied with the age breakdown of the room she was to participate in. Two year old and five year old chldren should not be in a room together as their development is totally different. Additionally they did not appear to have the appropriate teacher to student ratio to be able to effectively watch the children. We chose not to allow her to attend the activities..

Ship Quality

I was very satisfied with the ship design and cleanliness. It seemed like they were always cleaning to ensure our satisfaction. I am very sensitive to the smell of bleach but did not mind smelling it as it ensured that they ship was clean. I would have liked for the FUNSHOPS area to have been larger as they seemed small compared to other carnival cruise ships.
Cabin / Stateroom

No complaints!! Clean, perfect size for two, comfortable bed, plenty of space. Enjoyed being able open up our balcony dividers so our entire family could sit out and enjoy each other. Our steward Nat so very attentive. I loved the fact that he always called us by name whenever he saw us!!

Large..Check out all the areas on day 1 so you will know where you are going..
Unfortunately I did not see any of Cozumel as our excursion immediately had us on a boat inland to Tulum. I did enjoy visiting Tulum, however I would have liked to have been able to see some of Cozumel..
Our original excursion of snorkeling, ruins and actually seeing Cozumel was canceled due to "weather"..however, the weather was perfect and NO other snorkeling excursion was canceled that day.
