Enjoyed the sunbathing on the 10th floor as we were in shade most of the time on our cabin veranda. Had a wonderful experience at the Chiefs Table on the second sea day. Would recommend "anytime dining" in order to work in a meal during your busy schedule. Brunch and Tea time on sea days are a must. Went on an excursion at each port. Shopping the booths near the pier is a must in Cancun. Enjoyed the sun bathing on our veranda on the way back to New Orleans.

food was excellent. Not much of a drinker, so i guess the drinks were ok. We were very disappointed in the Wifi package that was purchased. We obtained the premium package but was unable to use it after Thursday evening.

we were unable to see all entertainments other than those shown in the ENCORE lounge due to the locations allowing smoking. The whole fifth floor reeked of cigarets. What was viewed in the Encore Lounge was excellent.

I cant say enough about the professionalism and friendliness of everybody from our wait staff to our cabin staff who would remember your name after only one visit.

I fully expected to see soot from the stacks during my voyage, but the sooty footprints already on the veranda deck upon arrival was concerning. I was advised through letter that during the first port of call the veranda would be cleaned due to my neighbor lodging a complaint about her dirty veranda. When I returned from our excursion nothing had been cleaned on the veranda. Not sure why I received the letter if they were not intending on cleaning the veranda floor and walls. This did not however change the fact our cabin was great, comfortable and always clean.
Ship tip
I would advise Carnival to possibly create a cruise package for first time cruisers in order for them to experience the whole cruising package. We feel we missed a lot of fun and experiences of the cruise by being ignorant to all thats available. The listing of "Whats Happening" is great but there was so much more that first time cruisers need to know about protocol and just getting around the ship in general or what to expect that would be very helpful, and not finding out by experience.
We were accosted by locals offering us drugs upon arrival at the Doctors Cave Beach. Beggars at every turn. You may want to remove this excursion as it did not give Carnival a good name as facilitating this excursion. I would never want to return to Jamaica ever again due to this one trip.
The Secret River excursion was excellent. From the minute we were met at the pier to the minute we returned to the ship we received excellent care and communication. The excursion was fabulous even to my sister who was apprehensive about dark and confined caves.
