Review summary

Overall we had a really good time. It was my first time on a cruise and I learned a lot about how to do things differently next time. There’s a ton of things to do on the ship and at the ports. Most of the food was really good and the staff was awesome.

Food and Dining

The ships food on the main dining room was not good at all. You walk in and it’s beautiful....then you get your food and you soon wish you had gone to Guys Burger bar or even the buffet. Everything was just so bland. The service was great though. Food in the other venues was really good. Bartenders were great and the drinks are really good.

Ship tip

If you are didn’t in the main dining room make sure to take some “elegant”attire to wear on 2 evenings. We weren’t told this and felt a little underdressed

We did an all inclusive resort at “Playa Mia”. We got on a boat at 10 am....we sailed for an hour and 20 mins to our scuba destination. We scuba dived for 30 mins. Got back on the boat for another 30 mins. Scuba dived again for 30 mins. By the time we got to the resort we had just enough time to go through the buffet line one time(it wasn’t good) and had 1 beer before we had to catch the last taxi to the ship to leave.

It sounds like you enjoyed your 1st cruise. The Dream is a great ship. My 1st cruise was on her and she is still one of my favorite ships. mj4gold— I agree with you. I told my hubs that we have to retire to Florida because it costs too much to get to and from Michigan. Lol Happy Cruising

I agree with mj4gold, I learn something every cruise. The industry keeps changing so after 35 cruises I am still learning!😉

After every cruise we all learn how to make the the next one better or easier I figure I need another 20 to get it right lol so i'm going to do 2 a year to speed up the process. LOL
