I do agree with the statement with the buffet food being bland but that should never be a reason to completely hate your cruise

Look at photos on a kiosk?!?! 😂😂 Please explain the logistics of that one. They’d need an entire floor full of kiosks for all the people searching for and looking at pictures. Didn’t you see all the people constantly around the picture boards?? Kiosks would be a logistical nightmare not to mention part of the fun of pictures is searching yours out amongst all the others. Kinda like a Treasure Hunt. Lol!

The Flying Scotsman is the best CD I have ever encountered. You sound like you are a very unhappy person. If you look for things to complain about you will find them. I prefer to be positive and don’t let the little things bother me. You will find things that don’t tickle your fancy on Costa as well. I feel sorry for those guys!!

Petalpusher60: I'm glad you had A good time. We did eat elsewhere and the service was awesome. No complaints about service at all. Just wasn't really happy and when another, 17 cruise, cruiser tells you about the same things your seeing...... something was just wrong. I'm just putting out there my observations on my cruise.

Greysmom, rgbenning: In my OPINION, the aft pool either needed a drain around the outside of the pool or a taller lip around the pool so when the ship lists the water doesn't soul over causing a 6in deep puddle where people are sitting trying to go down a 2 inch drain on the side of the ship. I didn't like the theater layout but that's just preference. I didn't like the way photos were done by Pixles. I shouldn't have to spend almost 4 hours looking for photos of my family. The could update the system to where when they take your photo they enter your room number and put all them together on a computer and then you look at them on a kiosk. You choose the ones you want and then they print them off. They could then lower the prices by not printing EVERY picture taken. You could go to the kiosk, pull up your photos and print ONLY the ones you want. I wasted the time looking for photos only to put half in the recycle bin.

Tailwind11: I'm not comparing to Costa. Haven't been on Costa yet. That's this October. I didn't like the cruise director, non of the ships activities were promoted very well, the way they do pictures was horrible. I'm just saying there were a lot of things that they could of done better in my OPINION! I didn't have a horrible time, I was with my kids. Just disappointed.

You cannot compare Carnival with the other two cruise lines you have been on, you did not pay the same amount as you did on Costa and even Norwegian is a little more expensive. Like I have said many times (A Cruise is what you make it) if you want your rear kissed stay on Costa!

We went last year and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Only bad thing was departure day way a stormy day and couldn’t be outside for the sail away party, but they held it inside..it was packed..beautiful ship and great service everywhere.. if you didn’t like the buffet options there are plenty other places to eat..

About the only thing that would ruin a cruise for me would be hitting an iceberg. That and having to get off the ship after the week is always a bummer.
