Easy trip for us as we are only an hour away from the terminal. We like the Dream as it is very laid back but fun. You can participate in as much as you like or not at all.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Zip, zip, zip..into terminal garage, thru the line, onto the ship, and there you have it!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
MDR was a bit hectic...waiter was very pleasant, did not eat here on formal nights as generally the MDR is even more loud and busy. Buffet was ok...nothing to write home about but adequate. Pizza was good as usual. Burgers are good also. This is not a fine dining cruise but there is plenty to choose from.

Entertainment

Stage shows were nice, comedians were funny, steel band was enjoyable. DJ in the atrium was lively.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Room Steward was great, cabin always cleaned and freshened nicely and in a timely manner. All personnel seemed cheerful and helpful. Flying Scotsman...cruise director...very energetic and fun guy.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything appeared well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
This cabin located right above a speaker in the theater! Any announcements, games, productions in the theater will drive you right out of your cabin! You cannot go to bed till after 11pm and you cannot take a nap in the afternoon if they are practicing in the theater.
Ship tip
Skip the long lines at the eating venues on embarkation day for lunch. Bring a snack and then have an early dinner. Don't get a cabin over the theater! Enjoy all the evening entertainment...there is plenty to chose from.
Fairly efficient. somewhat rude terminal staff. Barking orders as if you were either hard of hearing or dumb. Really no need to be so pushy. Kind of a downer after a nice trip.
I wish we were only an hour away from a cruise terminal! We would be in the "poor" house cause I would have cruises booked for every other weekend..lol
