Review summary

Belize was bypassed due to the storm. The port replacing it was the best port on the cruise. Progreso Yucatan. It was amazing. Great to have Tony the Fluffy Tour Guide. He made this port amazing. He was informative and very entertaining. I will take my next cruise to this port. it was amazing.

It was organized and employees was making sure everyone followed the procedure to make sure it was smooth as possible.

Clean and organized. Great food. The tea and water wasn't good at all. Be sure to get your drink packages.

Onboard Activities

Dive in movies were great. Swimming pool and hot tubs were great.

Entertainment

The Flying Scotsman Chris Williams AKA jumping Scotman(that's what his granny calls him) made it worth while. The live music and DJs were awesome. Comedians (PG)was great.

My two sons loved the Circle C. Great for young teens.

Service and Staff

The people on this ship have to love their job. Their focus is that everyone they serve has a great time. It is sad the staff is away from their family so long. Be sure to think about that before you leave the cruise and tip the servers well. Kittisak (Kitty cat) was great. He is a big asset to Carnival.

Great towel animals. My family loved the excellent job the staff did on cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom

Best spot was on the lower floor. It was a little rocky on the upper floors. We enjoyed it.

Ship tip

Bring in the max limit of can drinks. Don't be a sucker for the free tea and water. They are horrible. Get your drink packages. The worst time is when you start to sail . It is a hassle getting everyone in the Muster Station. Several groups were packed in to small rooms for explanation for safety. We were on the side with a lot of gassy people and the smell was horrible. After that it began to get fun. Just be prepared for it and it want be so bad.

You have to do an excursion. There is a beach resort in Meridia. Our guide was also the entertainment director at the resort. Awesome trip.
