Review summary

Busy, exciting, enchanting, entertaining, and relaxing!! That’s just for starters!!! There is so much to see and do if you get bored it’s YOUR fault! There is no reason or excuse not to have the time of your life!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Despite the story’s we were told about boarding we had no problems. In fact, we arrived at the port at approximately 10:30am and we were on the ship in our room by noon! Super easy! And we weren’t rushing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food is great and although not available all the time in all the dining areas, there is plenty yummy food available all the time from some areas! And then there is always room service 24/7!!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
No shortage of entertainment!! Saw a couple of the funniest comedy shows ever, enjoyed the “Motor City Review” which presented the hits from the motor city, a something like magic show called “Flick”, spent time in the casinos, and a host of other activities and excursions!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows onboard are top notch, professional style entertainment!

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room Steward, David, was phenomenal! He attended to each of our requests and was a wealth of information for us! If we needed something he got it, if we were looking for something he knew where it was, and when we asked about recommendations for things to do or see he knew the best options!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless vessel and very beautiful! This lended to a more relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The stateroom exceeded our expectations! We had plenty room to move about, store items, and watch the ocean go by from our balcony!! The amenities were abundant! Always cleaned linens, spacious shower, hairdryers, toiletries, appealing decor, and on and on!

Ship tip

The one piece of advice I would offer is to make sure your footwear has good grip! The floors can become slippery from the pools or ocean mist/Raina d can be VERY slippery. But nothing that can’t be overcome!

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
Loved New Orleans, always have, but staying in the french quarter made this port even more special!

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
This port of call was fantastic! Beautiful beaches, tasty food, and unbelievable water! You must go snorkeling or diving on the local reefs! You will not be disappointed!

Belize City, Belize Did not visit port

We had to pass on this port due to hurricane Nate. Too bad as it was the primary port of call we wanted to see.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Loved Cozumel! The cultural mix in food and customs made this an exciting port to visit.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Remarkably FAST! Chris, our most awesome and excellent cruise director made not only the whole cruise fun and exciting but his guidance and instruction for activities such as disembarking, as well as other cruise activities and events, made things smooth as glass. From the time our deck was called to leave to the time we got past customs and to a cab was less than 30 minutes!!!
