Overall it was a good experience. Would definitely choose a smaller vessel next time with more family friendly for teens and parents ie... more space in pools and dining experience. Would choose different excursions as I felt the one in Cozumel was misleading just wanted to experience more of a tropical island experience.
Embarkation

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was excellent - but the service was a bit slow in the dinning room! Also the last two sea days when of course everyone was on the ship only one buffet line was open - it was awful having to stand in line and wait as long as we did and then when reaching the actual food we had to wait again for them to reload stations. Also one lunch time I was right at the quitting time buffet was still open with alot of people in line but they would not let me get lunch even though i was already in line. Very rude to me.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The pools were too small to handle all of the people on board on sea days! Not many people like to get in a pool with 75 other people with elbow room only. Everytime you turned around one of the pools were closed.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Had fun except the first night after party. Need to have more separate family activities. My older teen and her cousin were enjoying the aftershow - first night - dancing and have a ball when they started playing a descent enough song but one of the guest started vulgarly dancing - even the Cruise director and the helper where covering all the kids eyes - it was so disappointing - not everyone likes to see that and of course it ruined it for us and we left. Lots of kids there having fun only to be ruined by drunk people.
Service and Staff

Great room steward!! Yuni I believe was her name! She was awesome! Room 6324 if that's not her name? But she was very helpful and knew us by the second day! Wait staff in the dinning room at night (Starlight was very good) Brunch time not so great - both days we felt very ignored had to ask for too many things - like bread that was being taken around and offered to other tables. We had to wait on our food for a very long time - we realized it would be long but 40 minutes for waiting without being offered juice or bread - a little too long.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
From what I could tell - really didn't use them that much. Layout good - sometimes needed more direction - did not like having to go through the smoky casino to get to some of the back areas - hard to find other ways to go - most convenient but the smoking was awful - there should be no inside smoking!!!!
Cabin / Stateroom

It was fine - next time will upgrade to balcony. Didn't find the outlet in the bathroom until the last day!
Ship tip
Find a cruise with only one sea day at a time - tough to be onboard two days in a row - activities that we wanted to do where sometimes at the same time.
Too commercial - wanted to see more tropical area - did the Chankanaab Beach day and Sea Lion Show. The beach was very small - what we saw on line was beach - expected a nice walk in area to get to the ocean - all we got was rocks! Didn't know this had no water shoes - Not a great place for just wanting to be able to play in the beautiful water. Snorkeling area or Dolphin excursion would have been better for this beach. The Sea Lion Show was great just wish the guy would have talked slower and not repeated everything in Spanish as most of the audience was American.
We did not see an excursion that we wanted to do and the time allotted and riding a boat inland was not something we wanted to do. Stayed on board and had a great day! Didn't have to deal with everyone at the pool or at the slides!
We were scheduled to disembark at 9:45 although we did embark a little early we had to stand around for 45 minutes waiting because we couldn't be in our cabin and they weren't allowing us on Deck 3 although there were plenty of places to sit on that level. Finally about 10 minutes before we embarked we could go down there. Was not pleased with the long lines for embarkation. Not as easy as getting on the ship!
