Review summary

I wish the photos were a package deal instead of the individual price. We went broke on pictures and couldn't afford all the ones we really wanted. We aren't the dress up type, so we didn't find a whole lot to do. We enjoyed walking around the boat and looking at the water. This was my first cruise, but I thought the pools would have been bigger for the amount of people that were in them. My cabin was ok, we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in it. I just wish there was a bathtub in the room for my 2 year old.

We are hoping to plan another cruise for early next year. This time I want ocean view since we can't afford the balcony.

I wish there was a bathtub. My 2 year old was terrified of the shower.

Ship tip

If you have kids be sure and do the Dr Seuss activities. My 2 year old loved it.

We've been on 3 cruises and have #4 booked. It wasn't until our third cruise that we actually participated in anything! We finally went to the shows, and played some trivia and had the best cruise! We don't dress up either so we never did the elegant nights and usually ate on Lido, but on that third cruise we did the elegant night and one other night in dining room. I love the pictures we got and I agree that they are too expensive to buy individually and should be offered in a package. The more cruises you take the more you learn. And interacting on this app helps a lot.

Yes I agree on the photos as well. You would think as big as carnival is, they would have more sense when it comes to business. That's a lot of ink and paper they throw away. Not to mention they have 26 ships.

try a small inflatable baby pool in the shower. fits in luggage

On the photos you can wait til closer to the end to get them so you can pick and choose.

I would agree about a package for photos. My last cruise we spent over 200 and there were several more photos I would have purchased. They throw them away so why not make a package?

we are on deck 1 with the deluxe window room it has a shower in one bathroom and another half bath with a tub and sink

No need to really dress up unless you're dining in the dining room so be comfortable and enjoy some shows. We didn't really do anything until our third cruise where we participated in some trivia games and went to see some shows and it was our best cruise to date!

We have the ocean view deluxe next month and it has a tub for our baby. Maybe try that one next time.

Some of the rooms do have tubs.. You'll just have to look at the desk plans of the different ships.
