Review summary

Food was good, but nothing stood out. Most food was lacking in spices and flavors in the main dining room. The Lido deck buffet was very disappointing as far as options and no late night service. The layout of the ship is good. I would like to see a little better shopping experience on the ship. All in all, we had a great week.

Really enjoyed all the trivia games. The slides were awesome. We especially liked the bar in the casino because of the broadcast of the Cubs baseball games.

Entertainment

Sound was so loud and very distorted. However, the comedians were great and the Flying Scottsman was AWESOME.

Service a bit slow in the main dining room. In the Lido deck buffet was very hard to get someone to clear tables. Also surprised that no one refilled drinks.

I have had other balconies where they had sliding doors and was able to leave them open at night. Did miss that! The room was fine other than a lack of power supplies.

Ship tip

there is not one thing that is outstanding, nor anything that is offensive or poor quality. Just enjoy!

I am surprised because last year it was very enjoyable and tasty. Maybe they changed chefs or the person in charge of food. Will be on it in 2 wks hope it really isn't this tasteless. But will enjoy anyhow and only eat things I like. Lol 😊

We went on oct 9. And we had the same problems. I have been on dream before and food was much better. Room guy was great and still love the ship
