Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was the relaxation, however, the cleanliness of the vessel was far below my expectations. The room service menu was an absolute joke and from all accounts some of their policies changed for the worse. They allowed kids in the adult pool with no consequences. I had a much nicer time on royal Caribbean. Let me clarify since folks had a question: yes it was the serenity area whirpools.....LOL....I'm still tripping some of you got mad...the world me live in ...smh

I think there is a distinction between opinion and complaining. The Dream is going into dry dock in January for upgrades. We are sailing in 2 weeks only because we wanted a couple days in New Orleans. I have been on cruises and always had a great time. Not one to have an option on room service menu every ship was clean but was not focus on it. I focused on having a great time!!

We sailed the Dream in June, which was our very first cruise, and loved it. We were impressed by the great service and cleanliness. Anywhere we went at anytime there were always someone cleaning. Absolutely loved it

We were on this same cruise, thought it was fabulous.

It's all about managing expectations, if Mrs. Walker thought it was an adult only pool, I can certainly see why she was upset. Having been on a couple Royal Caribbean cruises, I can say they do have adult only pools. The key is to not allow one or two negative things bring you down and ruin your time while there. Stay positive as much as you can and I promise you will have a great time. 😊🌴🍻

Review or not I Love everyone Just sayin

Very true all they had to do was correct the misinformation not be so rude geez

Katievp    8 years ago

The only fault I see is that she did give incorrect info about the pool. The rest did appear to be her opinion. I don't agree with it but that doesn't make her wrong for having it. More details on some of the issues would have been helpful though.

@ayannaalwalker ppl can be so rude nothing was wrong with this review ppl clearly have nothing better to do

JusMe.......maturity is not very common these days...little did I know a review could get people in their feelings so much lol

JusMe    8 years ago

It is a verified review,  proves they were on the Dream.   Why so rude to the OP ?  They gave a review and opinion.   If it is not your opinion you have to get rude and call names ?  How mature is that ?

Op are you sure you were on the Dream? I'd say no by your review.

I was on the Dream last October, and going again in October 2016. Loved every thing about the ship, except the fact that there is Plexiglas on the outer railings. My quest on the next cruise is to find open railing and hang out there.

I can not tell you how many times I told my husband how amazed I was at how clean the ship was. There was people constantly cleaning everywhere I looked.

It just a crappy review. Said that cleanliness wasn't to their expectations but didn't specify what was not clean. Said that the room service menu was a "joke" but didn't explain what was missing or what they would have preferred to have. And gave INCORRECT info about an adults only pool that does NOT exist on the Dream. So. Yes, everyone can have an opinion. But if its wrong or not articulated well, it's a crappy opinion. I hate to see bad ratings for bullshit reasons.

There is no adult only pool on the Dream. Having said that, all cruise lines are not for everyone that doesn't make her opinion wrong. It's just an opinion.

Nyszerman    8 years ago

Agree Dream only has some hot tubs in serenity- no other adult only pools

ddgleaves    8 years ago

I wasn't aware of adult pool. Adult only deck area, but no pool. Well not last October.

Lmao... #Ruthless

I dont understand why parents cant allow adults to have an opportunity to have adult fun and conversation and not have their kids in the adult area. Obviously theres an adult area for a reason. Carnival should enforce this rule.

Done Carnival 3 times , our best times where on Royal, no more Carnival for us. But, to each there own.
