Review summary

I have been on several cruises with carnival, but I found this time there wasn't enough music playing on the Lido deck. There were big spans of nothing happening on deck. On 5/5/16 when we were on our way back to the ship from the Cayman Island the weather was bad, it was raining on the transport boat and the boat hit the ship which was very frightening. I personally believe we should not have been brought back to the ship until the weather passed over. I was told my room would be upgraded when I booked and the room didn't look like an upgrade to me, in fact the shower seemed smaller and the king bed was weird with one mattress a little higher than the other.

I found the shower to be very small and the mattress were uneven

Ship tip

You must eat from the Mongolian Wok and the ice-cream is the best. The coffee in the restaurant is so much better than on the Lido deck.

Que1964..Jeanetteb09..I'm glad too see that some have SENSE! I agree. Actually, people listing some things they didn't like isn't discouraging. What is is the barrage of hate from many posters..Gellmore, AmieMarie, MANY MORE, telling others how THEY ARE THE NEGATIVE ONES! I've never seen such and will stay on Royal Carribean vs the maturity of some of these loyal Carnival-ers! No thanks!

It's rude to tell someone to educate themselves? Just like the people that complain about things that are clearly stated in the cruise contract, but choose not to read? Right.

WOW people! Looking at this persons "stars" (they put 4) they say it was a good cruise despite the issue on the transport boat and the music it sounds like ronjae4 had a good time. Just because someone makes a slightly negative comment everyone jumps to the negative comments I am glad when someone voices their opinion, but come on!!!! Some of these comments I'm reading are pretty rude. Thank you ronjae4 for your opinion of the ship and cruise

Upgrade could mean you're moving up a deck. Doesn't mean you're getting a bigger room. Educate yourself before you criticize.

I'm pretty open to everyone's opinion and feedback. Someone else experience good or bad may help me avoid a situation I may not want to deal with. 6 DAYS!! I can't wait!!!

I've been 3 times to caymans and they're safety. Prevented us during storms from getting off the boat. They are well trained and follow the rules for safety of passengers. The ocean has waves. And all boaters know what the white bouys are for bumping. Just go with the flow. YOLO. Best of luck on your next trip. See the excitement and wonder or nature

I was on that same cruise and it only rained for a few minutes at at time. Stop complaining about every little thing after all you were on vacation. Nothing will be perfect but the service was excellent the food was great. I didn't have to get up and do anything. And I was on vacation.. If you want to find negatives they are easy to find. Focus on the positive for the future...
