Review summary

My cabin wasn't ready when I boarded, beds wasn't a king..did not get it fixed until late about 10pm. Steward did not service room until my guest and I reported it several times. I received luggage that evening and the security gave me bull rap about reasoning. They also gave me he'll about my juice I needed to regulate my glucose. I brought 7inch fan with me to have it taken which Carnival misplaced. I was very very very very disappointed for the first 4 days. I'm now somewhat skeptical about cruising with carnival.

I honestly did not think the comments on this post were as bad as some I have read. I think it is hard to assume these comments are negative... I think the person who gave the ship a 1 star was unfair because it seems this person did not cruise before. It also seems like they did not do their homework about what is allowed on Carnival ships. There are many people who this ship and some are overly passionate to say the least. Lol...If I were you I would not let it upset me or discourage you from cruising Carnival!! It is just another social media site

The cabins aren't always ready when you get on. They just got rid of 3000 people and have a few hours to change all the rooms. What are you guys expecting? New cruisers...either wear your bathing suit when you board the ship or carry it with you (not in your suitcase) so you can enjoy the ship until your room is ready.

I have been on the conquest and I will admit it's a toss up between the two of which ship I like better.

The Dream is a favorite? Try Conquest or Sensation...you'll change your mind lol I have to agree with the post. The service was mediocre. (Juice is not available 24/7...only lemonade, water, tea, and coffee)

The Dream is.my Favorite Ship so far that I have sailed with Carnival. We sailed in March. It's Big! The food is greatn the Staff was wonderful and we enjoyed it so much that we are taking our adult sons in July on the same itinerary we sailed. Don't be nervous. just have a great time and think about the positives.

I have been on the Dream... the ship is great!!! Luggage and Cabin are not always ready when you board... there are hundreds of cabins to get ready and even more luggage to check... if you read the rules about what you can bring your fan and juice would not have been taken. Juice is allowed but size and packaging matter. I think it is really unfair to give the ship 1 star for things that occurred on day 1... it is not the crews fault you stayed mad for 4 days!

Wow!! Makes me appreciate the crew on carnival more every day. We just have to hear them whine but they have to respond to them.

Cabins are never ready as soon as you board unless you have fttf or priority status. Same thing with the luggage. Without priority status, it may be evening time before luggage is delivered. Juice? You walk to a drink station and get all you need.
