Review summary
This was my fifth cruise with Carnival, and was disappointed to see the drop in service. I don't know if the change is across all Carnival ships or unique to the Carnival Dream. We specifically booked a cabin with a balcony because I like to enjoy a cigar occasionally, but smoking is not allowed on balconies on the Dream! We also like to have full service breakfast in our cabin some mornings. Not available on the Dream, if any Carnival ships anymore! Only continental breakfast available. They no longer offer a stocked mini-bar and keep your ice bucket full. We are used to seeing the room steward once or twice a day as we come and go from the room. This trip, we saw the steward only twice the whole week! We heard Carnival reduced the room stewards by 50 percent. Food was okay, ship was clean, and entertainment was good, but we will not be sailing on the Carnival Dream again.

Burgers and pizzas are the best! Check out the adult only serenity deck above the spa. Most comfortable deck loungers.
