Review summary

Lunch on Lido was the same every day and not very good. They do not clean the room but once a day. No robes or chocolates. Entertainment was poor. Our inside cabin was extremely small with no chair or couch. Just not the same as it has been in the past.

The Carnival Dream has added a number of inside cabins so that all of them are very small with no couch. Not like their other ships were the cabin sizes are the same. Only difference is no window.

I would not like this as well. You pay extra for the ammenties and someone does not have the respect for others. I hope you have better luck next time.

We did report it to our steward twice. Each time he did let us know he had reported it to his superior. My blood did boil...he did his job, but someone dropped the ball. I chose not to go ape & chance the brig... & we had kids. Who knows how crazy a neighbor can be if they refused to obey the rules. This morning I went out to enjoy the sunrise, and here comes the smoker :(

We lucked up with a great room steward! We were given choices. We had two cabins and two different stewards. We chose once a day and an ice bucket daily. He came more than once and kept the bucket filled. However, we did not luck up with a respectable cove neighbor. Kept smoking... The other steward cabin came once like they liked. Sorry others are having issues.

Who needs their room cleaned twice a day? Theyll do anything you ask. And save your towels! Be concious of our eco system!

We were on the Dream the week of Thanksgiving. Their leaving the robs in the rooms is new. But if you ask they be more then happy to go you one. I bought a bag of small candy bars the last two cruises we have been on just because we love chocolate :). March 19 were going on the Conquest where it will be the first we will be ask when we want to have our room cleaned. No the Dream wasn't doing that we went. But with that we have talk about it have decided it would work out better for us . So we're just having clean at night. Also we will be trying the new American menu as well . I kind if look at change as part of life . Not everyone is going to agree with it all. Do I like all food on the ships we have been no but there is so much of it do. I love Carnival we don't let things that we don't care for ruin our trip. Yes at times it's hard I know but you don't get vacation very often enjoy the time you get :)

We were in this cruise too and I left a review of my own in here. If you read that you know I agree that it just wasn't quite the same. The crew was overall great, just not quite the same as usual and I think that makes people a little more critical of things for some reason. As far as cleaning only once, we did hear many people say that their stewards told them they would only be cleaning once and to choose morning or evening. They are suppose to be offering both as a choice also. Ours gave my husband all 3 choices and he chose both. I actually preferred evening only because we stay up very late and get up early and then like to take a morning nap, so sometimes they are kinda in our way. So when I saw him later I changed it to evening only and he actually asked me several times if I was sure. Worked out great for us even though he ended up being one of the worst stewards we've ever had. As far as the robes, yes clearly if you looked around the ship you had to have seen people walking around in them at some point, your steward just failed to leave them just ask. As far as lunch, we never ate at the buffet so didn't notice the choices, but there are several other places to eat, so why didn't you just eat somewhere else?

They do clean rooms twice a day per John Heald Robes have always been on shelf if not it was you to blame for not asking your room steward You must not have cruised in awhile Carnival cut chocolates over a year ago We went to Cherry on Top and Bought chocolates for our grandson As far as small inside room maybe you might want to splurge and upgrade to a larger room. A Balcony has bed and a couch So how is Carnival responsible for you not researching your room or not smart enough to ask for something you want
