Review summary

We have sailed with Carnival several times as well as on the Dream.. This was the worst experience to date. There was no variety for breakfast, same options every day. I will say that the food in the Dining room was good and the waiters were very nice. We did our best to enjoy ourselves however, I will NOT sail on the Dream again.

We went without house keeping the first day and had to bring it up to our steward in order to get service.

I have noticed that the one or two cruise super heroes are the same ones that seem to post the nasty responses to original posts. Is this a trend only on this site or just a reflection on a deeper lack of respect for others that is so common in society today.

We have had far better and far more entertaining cruise directors; we had EXCELLENT wait staff (Anthony, Daniel, & Ching); wonderful room stewards for both cabins! Stinky & rude smoking cove neighbors, but we will be back!! Probably won't get a balcony of any kind, cuz we can't chance smoking with the kids (allergies)... Make the most of it. I didn't have to cook!!!

Petty never satisfied people. Its impossible to please over 3000 people at once. Carnival you rock! Been on over 20 cruises and if u book a cruise JUST TO EAT go to golden coral for your next vacation.

@firehawk512 I'm so tired of it too. I have been on 3 going on my 4th and love it Sure there have been little problems but what vacation doesn't have some little problems. Oh I had to wait 5 min for ice cream 1 star Etc etc.

We were on the Dream Mardi Gras week the ship and staff overall were awesome... but the food was not very good, BLT and lucky charms from room service was the best we ate all week. We didn't let the food, robes, chocolates on pillows, etc. ruin our vacation, we made the best of it... but when you pay $4k you expect to get your $$$ worth, and I don't feel we did.

We just got off Feb 7 and we had a wonderful time all the food was top notch, including breakfast, not trying to start anything but some people are either hard to please or they look for anything to complain about. The Dream is a great ship the crew goes out of their way to please .

Step outside your box There are many who would have settled for any breakfast was my point as well as I am so tired of seeing so many complaints over trivial items ruining a entire cruise

Well firehawk, it seems you have major problem with the original post! I thought your second comment was unnecessary and served no constructive purpose. I agree that the breakfast complaint is no reason to label the whole cruise as the worst experience. I do respect the right to post an opinion even if I can not understand or agree with it.

By the way be thankful for being able to have a breakfast I am sure there were many in the countries you could afford as a luxury to visit went to bed without dinner and got up to no breakfast at all

So breakfast ruined your entire cruise so tell me how many different varieties of breakfast do you serve at home daily and I am sure Carnival had just as many on their buffet if not more They also offer a great Seaday brunch
