A good first cruise experience

Sail Date: March 12, 2011

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

clean and very well managed. staff was attentive and courteous at all times.

Pros: convenience of cruising and not packing and unpacking....

Cons: the chaise lounge mgt was a joke.

Recommends Carnival Dream? No.

Food and Dining
the food lacked taste. it was well presented and timely and always replaced, but needed more taste. Lasagna at Pasta bar was best food on the ship.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
magen's bay beach is must see. otherwise Amalie was gritty and most stores closed at 4pm.
