Review summary
Carnival's newest ship does not offer anything special in comparison to other cruise lines. The price was fair and the service was great. We have traveled Carnival and Royal a few times and have come to the conclusion that Royal is the better value. Cons on the Dream: It smelled of sewage in some spots on the boat. The boat is bigger *130,000 tons, but it appears as though all they have added is more cabins. You would think they would offer something special that other cruise lines can't compete with. The auditorium was always full so if you did not get there at least 30 minutes early you were standing or missing the show all together. Pros: Comedy club Carnival serviceShip experiences

Pros: The islands visited on this trip
Cons: The smell of sewage in the hallway!
