Review summary

Ship was impressive. Very clean and organized. The embarkation and debarkation were flawless and quick. All of the ship's employees were courteous and nice. Sometimes it was a bit hard to understand them, as only 12 of them out of 1400 were from the states! They all had a story to tell and were interesting, though. Service was incredible and the rooms were constantly being cleaned. On port days, sometimes our room was cleaned 3-4 times. Bad parts-- Too many people. I understand that they want to fill the ship to get their money's worth...but it was a bit ridiculous. This was extremely apparent at lunch time. The buffet lines were long and there was no where to walk on the main Lido deck. To avoid this, just eat at the dining (served) rooms. I don't know if we were just being picky, but the food SUCKED! Sometimes we would leave our entire plate full of food because it was just not good. The formal sit-down dinners were better, but nothing to write home about.

Food and Dining

Not a fan of the food. However, if you like to eat...you can eat 24 hours a day if you wish!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Nice excursions and Half Moon Cay is nothing short of AMAZING!

Service and Staff

Really nice people. Bar tenders liked to make conversation and made the experience great.

Ports of call

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Private Carnival island. This place is AWESOME! The sand is so fine it's like walking on dust.
Don't Miss: swimming-- crabs and snails along the rocks were entertaining. :)

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Power Snorkeling was incredible. Water was clear and weather was perfect!
Don't Miss: As stated above.

Nassau, Bahamas

This place was not my favorite. The port when we got off smelled of urine and it was dirty. The natives literally live on the streets and beg and sell as you walk along the streets. The water and surroundings (get away from the port side of the island) are beautiful.
Don't Miss: Again...snorkeling. Lots to see and they give you food to attract all the colorful species!

Pros: Entertainment and activities

Cons: Food and amount of people

You had a great itinerary!!! This is what I was told about the ships crew. Very few North American people work on the ship and those who do are in entertainment, purser, hotel or H/R training.
