Review summary

Something to look forward to. The Conquest is a party boat for sure, but there's something for everyone. Just make sure you invest in your pleasures and plan accordingly!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a smooth process. Once we were able to get into the terminal, we were through in roughly 20 minutes. The staff were professional and willing to help us get to where we needed to go. Just be prepared for people to sell you photo ops before you even get on the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5

Chef's Table

5 out of 5

Simply fantastic, and well worth the price. We were giving the VIP treatment as we got to explore the galley and partake in a champagne toast. The menu offered a wonderful variety of specialty dishes, with an explanation of the concept behind them. Executive Ched Emil, Sous Chef Stanley and the whole team really made this a memorable experience. Whether you're going with company, or alone, you'll be glad you got to experience the chef's Table.

Pizza Pirate

3 out of 5

Not the best pizza, but far from the worst! If you're looking for a late night snack to soak up the booze, this os where you'll find all the other people doing the same. These folks crank out pizzas like they're samples at Costco.

Renoir Restaurant

5 out of 5

Delicious meals each and every time. I really appreciate the rotating menu, as well as the service. Not to mention the entertainment! The crew really put on a great experience.

Alchemy Bar

5 out of 5

Some of the best drinks you'll find aboard the cruise! If you're looking for a drink that'll both taste good and be visually appealing, this is where you'll find it.

Monet Restaurant

5 out of 5

Delicious food! I came here for breakfast while on the cruise and enjoyed every meal.

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

Some of the best burgers I've had anywhere. Never expected that burgers on a cruise would be as good (or even better) than anything you'd find on mainland. Definitely a must eat while on the cruise.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
If you're bored on the Carnival Conquest, it's because you choose to be. There's so much to do that we couldn't fit it all into the time we were there. The Carnival Hub app gives you a day to day itinerary of all there is to do, so be sure to take advantage of as much as you can. Highly recommend going to the Punchliner comedy club!

Entertainment

Toulouse-Lautrec Main Lounge

5 out of 5

Went for the Punchliner comedy show and had a great time! The comedians were hilarious, and the drinks were flowing like water.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Some of the hardest working people I've seen. Just about every single one of them greets you with a smile and a hello. I Gusti was our Stewart and he was fantastic. Be sure to tip your staff, especially those who offer exemplary service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
There was a weird sulfuric smell when the ship was at port, but it went away at sea. You can tell it is an older ship, but still charming all the same. The crew are constantly cleaning and making sure that the ship is in good order. These folks are a well oiled machine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
An interior cabin is cost effective sure, but a balcony is well worth it! Nothing quite like watching the sun rise over the ocean from your balcony. Not to mention that the rooms are larger.

Ship tip

Invest in your experience! If you know you're going to want to drink, get the drink package. Make sure you have plenty of money set aside for the trip to fully enjoy all that the experience has to offer.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
One of the greatest experiences on this cruise. The port is super active with plenty of people trying to sell you stuff. But a simple "no" will have most of them move onto the next. Sharkeez has delicious cracked conch, and Graycliff hotel has some great chocolate, rum tasting and cigar rolling experiences. Well worth it!

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Great beach day location. The water is clear and cool. Just make sure you have swimming shoes because the beach/water can be rocky.

Miami, Florida

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarking was organized chaos, but major emphasis on the organized part. Kind of hard to expect things to run smooth when you've got over 3,500 people trying to get off the ship around the same time, but they've got a good system in place.
