Review summary
My family just got off the Carnival Conquest for Spring Break April 3rd-7th. We had an amazing time. My husband, 9 year old daughter and I went to Half Moon Cay and Nassau. The ship was packed to capacity but we still didn't have any issue doing any of the activities we wanted to. We ate at the dining room every night and most nights, we got our food in a timely manner. Formal night was a little slow but it wasn't bad at all. The waiting staff made up for it. They were amazing and attentive. Our room steward was also great. We rented a clam shell at HMC and had a fun day at the beach. The free island lunch they had were burgers, hot dogs, jerk chicken, rice and beans and some other sides. It took a while to get thru the line but there were tons of people so I definitely understand. The beach was nice, the weather was great and the water was clear. In Nassau, we didn't get an excursion. We decided to walk around ourselves and we had a good time. My daughter got stuff at the straw market and wanted to go back to the boat for a Guy's burger. 😂😂😂 The ship itself was nice. The layout was easy to navigate. We had an aft extended balcony room 7444. It was our first time having this type of cabin and it had some pros and cons. The view from the balcony was great and we enjoyed the bigger balcony. Some time we could hear a lot of noise especially at night and we would feel a little extra shaking but nothing too bad. Our cruise director was Jasper. We didn't see him too much but we also weren't in a lot of the common places for parties so we probably missed him. This is our 9th cruise on Carnival and they did not disappoint.Embarkation
