Review summary

This was our first time cruising with carnival and will be our last time with conquest the food was not good at all we only liked Guys burger but they close to early. The main dining was a Big No and my husband’s chicken was not fully cooked. Room service food was nasty I was so disappointed with the food this is not for me and It wasn’t a lot to do on the ship but I understand it’s older.

I agree with you about the food. The main dining room took over 2 hours. The cutback is noticeable with the services on conquest.

You're right to each his own. I have cruised the Conquest once. Love it! It's a perfect size ship for a solo cruiser like myself. Plus the Sunflower on deck 5 is absolutely beautiful. So don't let this one bad review keep you from booking this ship. I'm on her again May 30th, 2023. Just counting down the days.

Appreciate your details (though few). Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. That’s the beauty of the cruise industry; different cruise lines appeal to different clientele. Hope you enjoyed your next one on a different line.

That’s sad to hear, but I think a lot of it is because of Covid. We’ve been on 10 cruises since before Covid and the Conquest was our only cruise with Carnival. We loved it. A favorite . The cabin was great.Our daughter and her family came and they were next to us and we were able to have both balconies opened together. The food wad delicious every night in the MDR and the ports were wonderful. We didn’t care much for the shows but that’s not why we cruise. Anyone going please take time to visit deck 5 which is the Sunflower Atrium. Beautiful . And peek into the bar there.

I have a cruise on the Conquest next month. It's a little discouraging, but I'm still going to try and make the best of it. You can narrow down your favorite by trying out different lines, and see which one fits your interests and personality. That's what I did. But agreed, it's not Carnival.

I wouldn’t judge an entire cruise line by short cruise during spring break on one of their oldest ships. Try one of the newer ships on a seven day or longer itinerary.

My wife and I cruised Carnival Conquest in 2019 and it was one of our favorite of many Carnival Ships we have cruised on !! This one was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable cruises that I have done, I won this cruise from my job it was a employee of the year award given to me!! A much appreciated vacation, I thank my company A&G Management!! They picked the best Cruise Line Ever We love Carnival Cruise Line

With Carnival the food is a hit and miss. I would suggest maybe a newer ship or going with specialty dining those restaurants are pretty good. You could alway try a different cruise line as well.
