It was my Mothers first time on carnival she normally travels on royal Caribbean she didnt even receive no on board credit my first sail with carnival I received 50 dollars she was highly disappointed with Carnival overall

Onboard credit offers will vary with each sailing and aren't a guaranteed thing you should expect with every sailing.

So sad mum didn't enjoy, RCI are a hard act to follow, we are going with MSC for the first time shortly, they do a benefit match, our status with RCI is diamond plus, that gets you the second highest tier with MSC among other benefits is a $50 pp on-board spend, not a lot but nice to use for a specialty dinning experience. Carnival not part of that scheme?
