Review summary

Overall was a great trip, but as stated before, from what we heard from friends that cruised different cruise lines, the food was very disappointing.

Embarkation

I’m handicapped and your ground employees treated me and my party great!! They took me right into the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Buffets were terrible!! Always left hungry. Only baked potatoes on a buffet?? No Mac n cheese? I’ve had better food at ponderosa. Also took 10 minutes each time I ordered a Pepsi! Main dining room food was very good, servers very attentive during dinner. Breakfast in dining room left a lot to be desired. Guys was great! Mexican restaurant only had wheat and jalapeño tortillas?? I couldn’t eat there and I was very disappointed. Deli was simple but decent. Bats didn’t have enough bartenders on lido deck.

Lido Marketplace

Not a very good assortment of dishes

Pizza Pirate

2 out of 5

Thought the pizza didn’t have hardly any cheese despite the fact that I ordered extra cheese

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn’t really do much as we just wanted to relax, but we thought Kyndall Fire was AWESOME.

Service and Staff

Employees were always very friendly. Our cabin steward was great. Remembered our name after the first meeting.

Ship Quality

It seemed everywhere we went was either clean or being cleaned.

Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was very comfortable. Our shower didn’t drain properly and the first day we had 3 inches of water in the entire bathroom

Ship tip

Don’t buy the drink package.

Our favorite port! We did a private sloth and monkey and tour of the island. Was the highlight of our trip

Belize City, Belize Did not visit port

Tenders were to busy to stand in line

Cozumel, Mexico

No excursion because the beach day with food and drink included was full, we were disappointed.

We were on the Conquest in March and loved it. Food in MDR was absolutely delicious every night and ate breakfast there every morning. Also delicious. Never ate at the buffet as we've been on many cruises and know how most of them are. Guys burgers, pizza and the Deli were great for lunch. The ship was beautifully decorated and loved Deck 5 which is the Sunflower Atrium. Make sure to visit it. Whole deck beautiful and peek into Vincent's Bar. Cabin was spacious with beautiful wall lighting around the whole room. Air and plumbing worked great. Our cabin was in a perfect location near elevator and took us right down to the MDR. Our ports were fantastic. Out of 10 cruises, the Conquest was one of our favorite ships.
