Review summary
Service and staff very good. Ship needs a facelift. Rules need to be enforced so a rude/crude people don't ruin the experience for others. Adjoining balconies need to be left open during sailing like every other ship. Or a least give me a good reason not just "its policy". Tell people up front that the balcony door won't be open all the time. Or, don't charge extra for it. I will probably not cruise Carnival again because of these issues. I have taken many cruises and have never experienced the level of discomfort due to fellow cruisers before.Embarkation

Be prepared for rude passengers. I hate to sound like a snob but there was a fight before we even sailed, loud foul language, , pot smoking so bad they sent letters warning of the extra fee if caught. Our balcony reeked from the people next door. Also, people wore thongs and speedos into the eating areas and the "no bathing suits" rule was not enforced. But the sure enforced the no open balcony rule! Large groups of people "saving a place" in lines for the buffet and other food venues..the just pushed in front of everyone else 4-8 at a time. Nothing done about it.
