We all had fun and that’s all that matters 🤪 We learned a lot with it being our first cruise 🚢 so now next time we will know what to expect and exactly what to pack. We’re already looking for another cruise to book 😂
Embarkation

It was great! We had arrived a little earlier than what I had thought and from the moment we got on the ship everyone was so welcoming and friendly. There is a few of the staff members I already miss

Food and Dining

To be honest I was a little disappointed in the food. The buffets food was totally not what I expected and the other restaurants closed so early. With it being my first cruise ever to take I was expecting it to be an all you can eat 24/7 but it wasn’t.
Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the casino a lot. It took up a lot of our time so unfortunately we didn’t get to do any shows or anything. Our kids loved the lip sync battle they had. Lee (Mike) the cruise director was great. I’m already missing his voice over the intercom every morning 😂
Entertainment

Service and Staff

They all were great! All of them stayed on top of everything. I loved the ones who actually took the time to remember our names
Again we didn’t do an excursion here either. We stayed in the tourist area. We went to the beach and spent the whole time there. This port was actually my favorite one. The food is also wonderful here.
We did the horseback riding with lunch included and it was great. They stayed on top of everything from picking us up to dropping us off. Our tour guide that was on the bus with us taught us a lot about Belize. She was super nice and had the best personality ever. I would love to see her again one day.
We rode the dune buggies and speed boats. We all wanted to snorkel and especially me but I learned how bad clostrophobia I am and can’t do it. We all had a great time. We definitely made a lot of memories.
Worst experience ever! So I got a handicap parent who they would let take the elevator instead of keeping the family together they would separate us. We would have to stop and wait for my parents to get to us and the lady was literally yelling at us by telling us we couldn’t stop and had to keep moving. Let’s just say she was being so ugly and rude to us that my husband had finally snapped back at her and it takes a lot to make him mad. It’s not like we were holding up traffic because we were well out of the way. If they think that family shouldn’t wait on their family members then they should allow for the family to stay together at a time like this.
Seasoned cruiser here! You missed the best food if you did not eat in the Main Dining Room every evening! Also, the evening entertainment on Carnival is among the best on the seas. Next cruise, plan ahead and make sure to see the shows and eat the best meals on the ship. You can even check the MDR menus on your cabin TV before you go to start deciding what to order. Great servers there, too! NOTE: we have cruised with disabled family members - wheelchair and on canes - and we plan on later debarkation. If we are flying, we book a later flight to make sure we get to the airport on time. Easier path through luggage pickup, customs, and the taxi lines, too. (We never use the cruise line transportation any longer. Taxis are cheaper and more reliably "on-time!") If we are driving, it doesn't matter, so again, make the debark wait for sanity's sake!
First of all, did you only try the food in the buffet? Buffets aren't usually very good I M O. We were on the Conquest in March and the food in MDR was absolutely delicious. We stayed away from the buffet unless just getting a salad or a dessert. Even ate breakfast in MDR. For lunch we had Guy's Burgers, The Deli, Pizza, or Blue Iguana. All very good. And about being separated at Disembarkation in not right. We've been on 9 cruises and we see at embarkation and disembarkation that they try to keep the whole family or group together. Anyway, the Conquest was one of our favorite ships and would definitely go again.
My sister in law and I both had a walking boot an my mother in law has metal in her foot so we all though getting help off the big would b easy but we were told we would have to wait till 10 to get off so we waited in line at 8 with everyone else. Only problem was they kept trying to separate us cuz she my mother in law was handicap but we weren’t. Customs got upset that out group was separated an had to round us all up from different lines cuz I had the kids passports an obviously the kids follow grandma lol. In the end he was so upset an let us all go an he talked to the crew who separated us.
