I think Carnival is a great but needs lots of improvements on those special areas indicated above. Maybe Carnival Conquest had better days.

Main dining was good but the best was Lamsam our server for a couple of days. She has great personality and lots of smiles. Did not eat at specialty restaurant, too expensive. Buffet foods were ok nothing impresive however, some food was fresh. Big, big lines to get to the buffets and other foods like seafood, extra charge - unexpected - big let down. Pizza at Pirate great for my son - though, big lines every time.

It was ok, always a lots of people in the pools and spas hard to get in. Also, Spas water looked dirty.
Entertainment

Music on the main lobby and auditorium - it was great. I think Math, Entertaiment Manager, he was great! He made it all the music activies more interactive, fun and enjoyable. Great Job!
Children's Programs

My Son enjoyed circle C for Gaming but seldom Circle C would change the activities from being more outdoors to stay playing computer gaming - too much gaming and not enough ship outdoors games . Other times, unxpected closed time at cirlce C.

I think the staff specially the waiters and room stewards were attentive - always helpful.

Ship carpet on room hallways smelled molding and look a bit dirty - over all ship cleaningnes was ok - pools need to be a bit more clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our balcony room was mainly in repair, one day was the clogged sink and another day was the shower glogged. Ou toilet was missing the seat for two days. Another water ouside the shower. I'm giving 2 stars because room bed and towels service was ok - ready with more clean towels. Our shower super too small.
Ship tip
Do ask questions and get clean answers from Carnival what you can bring to the ship and which food and drinks are for extra charge and make sure you ask for better service if room is not what you expected. I may try Royal C cruise for our next cruise.
We did the all-inclusive Atlantis - Not enough time to go there and too expensive, way expesive for this excursion. Not enough chairs for people. Big water park but lots of lines all. Lagoon smelled like sewer water and left us with that smell on our bodies. I would not recommend this excursion. Beach water was a bit rough to get in - waves too strong but nice color water.
I would have given and excellent rating but the lockers and shell chairs extra charge and too expensive and way from our lockers. Water and sand beautiful - calm water, we have a great time in the water.
We did all-inclusive family beach and toys - food terrible. The people on site told us No snorkling today - so we overpay for snorkling and food. Drinks were ok
All Inclusive beach and toys at punta plate private beach. It took 45 minutes on open truck to get there but was interesting to see the roads and housing along the trip. Food was ok any extras was expesive. Beach was fun and to see the zip lining from our beach point of view was cool.
