I WILL NEVER CRUISE ON CARNIVAL AGAIN DUE TO THEIR LACK OF CONCERN FOR PROBLEMS WE INCURRED DUE TO MY NIECE BEING INJURED ON THE SHIP !!! I WILL BE SURE TO DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM TRAVELING WITH CARNIVAL.

Getting on was fine but once in the room the troubles started. When the bags were delivered my niece was injured. The suitcase rolled over her foot & tore off the toenail on her big toe. I went to speak with guest services & was basically ignored for the 1st 2 days. The final result was an offer for a free fruit basket..... Absolutely insulting to my niece. We could have gone to the buffet & gotten all the fruit we wanted. What kind of customer service is that ?!?! My niece was unable to walk for 2 days , we missed a shore excursion , she was not allowed to use any of the ships pools & was in excruciating pain & they offer her a lousy fruit basket ?!?! I WILL NEVER BOOK ANOTHER CRUISE WITH CARNIVAL & I WILL BE SURE TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCE WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE !!!!!!!!

Cruise director Matt was FANTASTIC !!! WASN'T impressed with pools & spent most of my time trying to help my injured niece get around in wheelchair & keeping her company because she was unable to do much due to her injury. No attempt was made to assist us until 3rd day. Phone wasn't working properly so never knew we had messages/voicemails

Waiters, cleaning crews were very pleasant. Our room steward , Watchanan was extraordinary. She took exceptional care of my niece & her injury & was very kind to both of us. CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK STAFF WAS HORRIBLE !! RUDE , UNCONCERNED & INDIFFERENT.

DON'T DEAL WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! SAM, NEVER DISCUSSED MY NIECES INJURY WITH ANYONE !!! THE MEDICAL STAFF NEVER DOCUMENTED MY NIECES INJURY UNTIL HER 3RD VISIT & WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT NO REPORT WAS WRITTEN !!!! FINALLY , THE OFFER OF A FRUIT BASKET AS ANY TYPE OF COMPENSATION FOR MY NIECES INJURY WAS NOT ONLY INSULTING BUT A TOTAL JOKE !!!
Had to cancel excursion due to injury my niece sustained . I got off ship & got right back on because i was worried about leaving my niece alone since she was unable to maneuver around in wheelchair alone.
Review seems to lack some important details How did accident occur? Our luggage is always left outside of cabin and we move it into room. Any visit to medical staff is well documented and they provide you a copy in the event you can submit to your insurance. Would think more info would help in deciding how to gage this review as we have various events occur on our cruises and all were resolved quickly, professionally and everyone was most helpful.
Well , sorry to hear about your nieces toenail . But why was her foot under the suit case ? By the way how old was she ? And you sound like your blaming the whole problem on the ship . Also , that garbage dump you mentioned is 7 miles away . And the wind blowing the smoke is natures fault , not the ships I have just completed a month on the conquest and never had a big problem . And as far as Sam .. at guest services , he has always bent over backwards to help everyone . All six foot eight , of himself . There has to be more to this , than your crying about . Awful funny your niece isn't complaining ! Sounds like you wanted guest services to kiss your butt , instead of tending to your injured niece . Just did my 60th cruise with carnival , and any time there is a problem they do every thing in their power to remedy the problem .
My small daughter hit her head on the fire sprinkler on my 1st cruise and with a confusion about the insurance I provided I was upset. Guest service offered a bandaid. Luckily the nurse looked at her free an said they would only wash it for $125 so my sil who is a nurse did it for free.
For goodness sake how was this the ships fault? Did they drop it on her foot ? Why attend the medical centre three times ? Seems a lot of BS to me !!!!!
If you are bleeding or injured, youre not allowed to go in pools, its for the safety of youre niece and the other guests. Also the luggage is delivered right beside your door, this does not sound like Carnival's fault. Just put a band-aid on it and suck it up. She doesnt not need no wheel chair just because she tore off a nail.
Thats wonderful you are not sailing with Carnival. More room for the rest of us, that appreciate the work these crew members do.
These crew members work on the ship for 6 months away from their families.
Since they give you a waiver before you get on board, its not their fault.
LOVE CARNIVAL!!! Sure sounds like Someone is just a Negative Nancy and Finds the NEGATIVE in Everything from the Ship to excursions etc.. sounds Like you should just Stay Home!! Thanks For freeing up a Cabin for those of Us who LOVE To Cruise With Carnival!!!😎
