Review summary

The ship need a total remodel . Deep cleaning of air ducts . So many people coughing and sneezing because of poor a/c . Food quality was horrible. Dining and buffet was cold . Couldn’t even bake a potato to done .

Room was clean . I would say the air ducts and a/c vents need cleaning . Three people of 8 ended up with respiratory problems during the cruise .

You say embarkation was smooth but gave it one star, you can entertainment was great but gave it one star. You ratings don’t make any sense and this shit was remodeled only a few years ago.

Sailed the Conquest January 19th. Everything was wonderful. No problem with room and I have allergies. People need to keep in mind it is cold and flu season and stop blaming the ship. Sorry your food was disappointing. Our food was always hot and completely cooked. Perhaps you should have mentioned something to Guest Service so your issue could be addressed.

The ship itself is usually clean , rooms are clean , but the dinning room food is. So - so. But the buffet leaves a lot to be desired . Mostly it needs to. Be served hot to say the least .

Ihave almost 60 cruises on carnival , and over 400 sea. Days WS on a back to back on the conquest 4 weeks ago , and going back feb 15 again for two weeks . And I Said the exact same thing about the buffet . And the baked or should I say the partially baked. Cold potatoes complained to all the right people and mostly to Sanjoy , one of the head chefs , he went and got us nice hot mashed potatoes . I told him if his crew can't even bake a potatoe , they should not be in the kitchen , the baked potatoes are horrible . The same goes with the potatoe salad , it is like eating a rock .

This will be our first time trying Carnival. We’ve been on 8 other cruises and loved them. I’ve heard recent reviews on the Conquest and they have been great. The ship could use a refurbish but other shipmates still love it and say the food is great. Maybe this person had a problem so it ruined his whole outlook. I will go on with an opened mind and see for myself. I’d prefer to listen to other reviews and not this one. Good luck to you also. It’s all what you make of it.

Having a family reunion cruise on this ship next summer. I've never cruised with carnival but what you've said is exactly what i'm expecting. I'm embracing the suck! I wouldn't even be doing it if it weren't for a reunion. Who do you usually cruise? We always use MSC & love them!
